Famous Celebrities You Didn’t Know Were LGBTQ

All of us have or had a secret celebrity crush at some point in our life. We know we might never ever get to meet them, but we still love to look at their pictures and dream about the possibility of spending time with them. For many of you guys and gals, this slideshow will shock you because that celebrity you might have had a crush doesn’t swing the same way you do!

Many of these celebs completely shocked us and crushed our dreams of ever being with them. 

Michelle Rodriguez

The Fast and Furious beauty denied being bisexual on numerous occasions from 2006 through 2013 when she finally decided to accept who she is. She is now proudly talking about her experiences with both sexes in interviews and is no longer ashamed that she falls under the B category in LGBT. “I’ve gone both ways. I do as I please,” she said. “I am too f—ing curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks.”

Raven-Symone

Back in 2012, Raven-Symone announced on Twitter that she would like to keep her sexual orientation private. However, with the swipe of legalization of same-sex marriages in 2013 across the country, she once again turned to Twitter, but this time to express how happy she is that she can actually now get married if she wants to. Two years after her confession, she introduced her now ex-girlfriend, AzMarie Livingston, to the public.

Wentworth Miller

The “Prison Break” star denied being gay when questioned back in 2007. However, in 2013, he finally came out and admitted that he was. More recently, he refused to attend the St. Petersburg International film festival in Russia because of Russia’s stance against homosexuality. Miller is one of the few Hollywood celebrities who manages to keep his private life strictly under wraps. It’s unknown if he’s currently dating someone.

Sarah Paulson

The road to success for Sarah wasn’t easy. Although she’s appeared on multiple shows throughout her career, her role in American Horror Story was really the one that brought her a a few Critics’ Choice awards. She now holds an Emmy for  The People v. OJ Simpson and has a very fulfilling love life, involving both men and women. She’s recently been linked to Holland Taylor.

 

John Travolta

John Travolta was in a heterosexual relationship with his wife Kelly Preston for over 25 years, but in secret, John has a private relationship with Doug Gotterba. For many years, Doug made many attempts to expose their relationship by publishing a book titled Travolta Exposed. However, because of legal issues, the book never made it to publishing. Travolta’s lawyers are still continuing to work to keep his reputation intact.

Jim Parsons

This guy that you all recognize from his role in the TV show The Big Bang Theory has been in a relationship with his partner, graphic designer Todd Spiewak, for a whole 14 years now. If you’re wondering why you had no idea, maybe it’s because the relationship wasn’t made public until 2012 — 10 years after it started. The two were married in May 2017 at the Rainbow Room in New York City.

The 29-year-old drop-dead gorgeous actress, who won multiple awards for playing the title role in the 2007 movie Juno, came out as gay in 2014 during a speech at the Time to Thrive conference in Las Vegas. She is now happily in love with the multimedia artist and surfer Samantha Thomas. Sorry, guys and ladies.

Tim Cook

The logo behind him and the way he is dressed give this guy away. Yes, he isn’t an actor, singer or movie director, but he is just as influential as any of the other people on the list. He stepped in and took over Apple as CEO of the company after Steve Jobs’ death. Apple is going strong and has sold over one billion devices worldwide, and Tim isn’t afraid to speak openly about his sexuality. In fact, when he came out in 2014, he said that it was one of the greatest gifts God has ever given him. Cook was the first openly gay CEO of a Fortune 500 company.

Queen Latifah

Queen Latifah’s sexuality has sparked many rumors through the ages, but nobody could tell whether she is certainly gay until she decided to come out in 2012. Her partner is Eboni Nichols, a professional choreographer and dancer.

In 2008, she told The New York Times, “I don’t have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life… I don’t care if people think I’m gay or not. Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway.”
